SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9mm L. S# 4569h. Bbl 3 7/8". P.08 manufactured by Mauser in 1940. The receiver is stamped "1940", with Mauser arsenal proofs on the right. Toggle bears Mauser's "42" manufacturer code. Metal components exhibit a salt blued finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece checkered black plastic grips. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the aluminum bottom magazine. MAGS: 1 8 rnd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, with surface oxidation and spots of mild pitting overall. Bore exhibits pitting and fair rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing and scattered marks and impressions from storage and handling, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (23-1866/MLW).
